GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS

Christmas 2018 service times – please take a card home detailing all the service times over Christmas.


Parish Carol Service & Christmas Celebration – TODAY!

16 December 2018, 4 pm

Please bring the Bambino (infant Jesus figurine) from your home crib where it will be blessed during the service. Final music rehearsals: Today at 2 pm sharp in the Church. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Christmas Raffle, the proceeds of which will go to support the direct costs of running the music ministry in the Parish. £1 a strip of tickets. Children and Adults raffle – please make sure you buy the right ticket!


Help make the Church look extra special for Christmas!

Big Clean - next Monday 24 December - 9am -10am

All are welcome to come along on Christmas Eve morning from 9am to 10am to help make our church look beautiful for our Christmas services. We appreciate any help - all ages welcome, Pop in for an hour before your final Christmas Shopping on King Street! Thank you.


Christmas Eve 5 pm Family Mass - Important information for parents

Help needed! Children to read and be involved in a special way at this mass – please come a short practice (20 mins) immediately after 10.30 am Mass today in the Church.

Parents – please remember children are asked to come along in their Nativity Play costumes (or something similar!) for this mass on Christmas Eve.


Christmas Eve 9pm Mass

Music - final rehearsal for scratch choir is next Sunday, 23 December at 4 pm in the Church. Altar Servers rehearsal for this Mass: Sunday 23 December, 11.30 am in the Church


St. Augustine’s Christmas Trees of Intentions

The Trees are up – but you still have time to write an intention on the back of a star to decorate the trees on the Sanctuary. Write your intention on the back of a star (in baskets in the porch and at the side door); put the star and donation in the envelope and return the envelope to the Parish Office or in the box provided at the back of Church. All donations will go towards the cost of the Christmas trees and decorations in the Church.
